Getting to Ajmer
| How | Time | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Train: Direct trains (like Shatabdi and Rajdhani) from Jaipur Railway Station to Ajmer Junction | 1 hour 40 mins to 2 hours | From ₹90 | The fastest, most comfortable, and reliable way to travel from Jaipur to Ajmer. |
| Car: Drive or hire a taxi from Jaipur to Ajmer via NH48 | 2 to 2.5 hours | ₹1,500 - ₹2,000 | Offers great flexibility. However, parking near the Dargah is very limited, so you will need to park further away and take an auto-rickshaw. |
| Bus: RSRTC or private buses from Jaipur or Pushkar to Ajmer | 3 hours from Jaipur, 30-45 mins from Pushkar | ₹60 - ₹600 | Frequent and budget-friendly. Pushkar is only about 15 km away, making for a very quick local bus ride. |
| Car: Taxi or Auto-rickshaw from Pushkar to Ajmer | 30-45 mins | ₹200 - ₹1,030 | A quick and scenic drive over the Aravalli hills separating Pushkar and Ajmer. |
